I was the “resident photographer” (whoa, prancy prancy title) for Jamboulay Carnival Arts Promotion (JCAP) during Notting Hill Carnival 2010. Sunday was the kids day which was fun enough for me to take pictures – under the sun, in the rain. Sadly I had to miss the adult day on Monday as I needed that time to fill in job applications instead… I would happily do it again if I got the chance!

This is my favourite picture of the day because of the colours. One of the older performers was adjusting her head piece, while I noticed the sign “Mind Your Head” above her from my perspective. I wished the sign was clearer though!
